Mini Christmas Jumper Pattern

This cute mini jumper would look perfect hanging on a Christmas tree make a fab present topper or a festive Christmassy Garland.


The pattern works up very fast. Great using up odd scraps of yarn.



Pattern:


materials:

Use any yarn and right size hook


notes:

ch1 at beginning of each round doesn’t count as stitch.


Written in US terms.

Ch 17

Round 1 -   sc in every stitch to end, join to first sc and be careful not to twist. (16 sts)

Round 2 - ch1, sc in next 2 sts, (sc, ch2, sc) in next st. *sc in next 3 sts,  (sc, ch2, sc) in next st, repeat two more times, sl st into first st to join. 

Round 3 - ch1, *sc in each st until ch2 space, (sc, ch2, sc) in ch2 space from previous round, repeat around from *, sl st into first st to join. 

Round 4 - repeat round 3. 

Round 5 - ch1, sc in each st until ch2 space, sl st together the ch2 space to the next ch2 space, sc in each st until the next ch2 space, sl st ch2 space to the next ch2 space. sl st into first st to join. 

Working the body

Round 6 - ch1, sc in each st around, sl st into first st to join. 

Round  7 - 10 repeat round 6.


Round 11 - ch1, sc in each back loop around, sl st into first st to join. 

Round 12-13 - repeat round 6, fasten off.


Sleeves 

Attach yarn to arm holes.

Round 1 - sc in each st around. 

Repeat round 1 another 6-7 times. 

Repeat for second sleeve. 

To add details change yarn as you please. 

For the ruffle working into front loops of round 11, 3dc in each st around. 


Why not add some some sparkly embroidery or crochet bobble stitches to give it that festive vibe. Or decorate as you please.
