Chunky Cowl Pattern

Writer's picture: Sharna MooreSharna Moore

Everyone needs a chunky cowl for when the temperature starts to drop. You can whip this super cosy cowl up in just 1 hour. This pattern is far easier than it looks, and is very beginner friendly.

Materials:

10mm crochet hook

Yarn needle

Hobbii Umami Tweed in shade Dark Amber x2

Stitches:

sc - single crochet

dc - double crochet

Pattern

Work in rows

Ch 27

1 - in third ch from hook, double crochet (counts as first dc) skip 1, ch 1, dc to end of row (14 dc)

2 - ch 2, turn (counts as first dc on row), dc in each ch 1 sp, ch 1 to end of row. (14 dc) your last dc is worked between space of last dc and ch 2 from previous row.

3 - 52 - repeat pattern.

To finish - fasten off, leave long tail so you can whip stitch both ends of cowl together.
