I was absolutely delighted when Sirdar invited me once again to design a CAL, this time focusing on a vibrant spring blanket. My vision was to create something that bursts with brightness and colour, offering a contemporary twist on nostalgic retro designs. I thought it would be wonderful to weave in themes of love and mindfulness. I was feeling 60s vibes- think peace and love - and that's where the hearts and flowers ideas came from. I adore the combination of pink and orange and love a clash. Considering the timing of the CAL coinciding with Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day, what better way than to sit back and crochet up some beautiful flower squares.
Over the next 6 next week we will be crocheting up some lovely, colourful squares and learning some new stitches and crochet techniques. I will also be sharing some of my handy little crochet tips.
So join me and make a blanket over six weeks, follow along with weekly patterns and accompanying videos. You can work at your own pace. Your have plenty of fun crocheting up this blanket. The gorgeous, bright yarn colours will definitely put a SPRING in your step.
To get started, make sure to grab your Sirdar yarn pack and sign up for your weekly free patterns.
Really looking forward to crocheting along with you all on the 5th February.
